December 2025 kicked off in a very dynamic way at the Telekom Center Athens arena, with a two-day concert event that reaffirmed the venue’s role as a landmark for live shows in Athens.
On December 13 and 14, the Main Arena was transformed into a meeting point for different generations, sounds, and emotions. Two nights, two distinct musical worlds, with one thing in common: intensity, emotion, and the unique experience of live music.
Rod Stewart: A live show filled with emotion and timeless hits
On Saturday, December 13, Telekom Center Athens welcomed a living legend of global music as part of his «One Last Time» tour. The «Forever Young» Rod Stewart took the stage and, from the very first moments, created a sense of intimacy with the audience, blending his iconic voice with the charismatic stage presence that has defined him for decades.
At 8:30 PM, Rod Stewart and his band welcomed the audience by performing «Addicted to Love». The setlist felt like a journey through time. Timeless hits alternated with more emotional moments, each song met with a strong response from the crowd. The high-end production by High Priority had it all: carefully designed lighting, cutting-edge visuals, and flawless sound, allowing the music to take center stage without distractions.
A standout moment of the live show was the closing act, where colorful balloons transformed the arena into a stage to the rhythm of «Love Train», while the applause at the final curtain confirmed in the best possible way that the Athens audience had experienced something truly special.
Big Time Rush: Sold-out show, explosive energy and a pop spectacle
On Sunday, December 14, Telekom Center Athens shifted its tempo and was filled with voices, smiles, banners, and vibrant energy. The sold-out Big Time Rush concert became one of the most dynamic live events of 2025, with the audience arriving early and creating the longest line we saw all year.
The famous American band we came to know through the legendary Nickelodeon series delivered a well-crafted show, featuring impressive choreography, strong stage presence, and constant interaction with the fans. From the very first songs, the concert turned into a massive sing-along, with #Rushers actively taking part in every moment of the night. Carlos PenaVega received loud applause when he decided to speak in Greek about his beloved friend from Tripoli.
The lighting, acoustics and multiple surprises for the audience elevated the energy of the live show, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of a major pop celebration. Big Time Rush proved why they maintain such a strong connection with their fans, giving four lucky fans the chance to step on stage and sing along with them in the sold-out arena of Telekom Center Athens. As the band themselves emphasized, their performance in Athens was one of the best live shows to date, leaving everyone with the very best impressions.
This two-day event perfectly captures the philosophy of Telekom Center Athens: a venue that hosts top-tier international productions, embraces diverse music genres, and creates experiences that remain indelibly etched in the audience’s memory.
Telekom Center Athens presents the new Members Club, a unique space created to elevate the hospitality experience through a combination of high aesthetics, understated luxury, and contemporary design.
With a total surface area of 1,220 sq.m., the Members Club was created to serve as a multidimensional space for meetings, socializing, gastronomy, and events, combining the atmosphere of a historic private club with the contemporary demands of a state-of-the-art, multifunctional venue.
The design concept
Interior designer Kostas Gagkos and his team approached the design of the Members Club with classical aesthetics as a key influence and symmetry as a guiding principle—an element deeply connected to timeless design and a sense of harmony. The philosophy of the space is based on creating an environment that exudes balance, elegance, and understated luxury, offering a high-standard hospitality experience.
Symmetry formed the core of the entire architectural composition. All functions and individual elements were organized along a central conceptual axis, creating a sense of coherence and grandeur within the space. A key feature of this design approach is the two “twin” bars, which are positioned symmetrically and serve as defining focal points of the Members Club.
There are stadiums that host games and stadiums that make history. Telekom Center Athens clearly belongs to the latter category.
After 19 home games in this year’s EuroLeague, it’s official confirmation of what everyone already knew: Telekom Center Athens is the noisiest venue in the competition. Panathinaikos AKTOR fans recorded the highest decibel levels of any European venue in 13 games, winning the “battle of the stands.”
It’s not often that you feel like you’re stepping into a space and leaving your daily routine behind and stepping straight into a celebration. That’s exactly what those who attended Telekom Center Athens on Sunday, April 5, felt on a night that looked like it would be something special. More than 8,000 spectators packed the venue’s Main Arena, filling every corner with energy, impatience and a mood for fun.
As the Harlem Globetrotters entered the glass floor, it was immediately apparent that what was about to follow was more than just a typical match. As part of their 100-year anniversary tour, they presented an impressive spectacle full of rhythm and imagination: perfectly synchronized moves, inventive tricks and nail-biters that thrilled the audience. All of this was ideally combined with their characteristic humor and spontaneity, creating an interactive experience where the spectators were not mere observers, but an active part of the performance.
