Telekom Center Athens consistently reaffirms its status as one of Europe’s most versatile and multifunctional event venues. Recent days provided a prime example of the venue’s capabilities, as three distinct events—drawing both international and domestic interest—took place simultaneously on its premises, showcasing its ability to successfully host events of varying natures and requirements.
Our Sports Hall at the heart of European basketball
From June 27 to July 7, the Sports Hall at the Telekom Center Athens hosted the FIMBA 13th European Maxibasketball Championship 2026, a premier European sporting event that brought athletes, teams, and basketball fans from many different countries to Athens. For over ten days, the venue’s facilities were transformed into an international sports hub, offering high-quality infrastructure and a flawlessly organized experience for participants and spectators alike.
The Main Arena hosted the 2026 EHBC Coaches Congress for the second consecutive year
From July 2 to 5, the Main Arena at the Telekom Center Athens hosted the 2026 EHBC Coaches Congress, one of the most significant educational conferences for basketball coaches in Europe. Organized by the EuroLeague Head Coaches Board, the event brought together more than 600 coaches from around the world, underscoring the international character and high caliber of the event.
During the four-day congress, participants had the opportunity to attend masterclasses, specialized workshops, and interactive presentations led by top EuroLeague and NBA coaches. Through the exchange of expertise, modern coaching methods, and best practices, the congress highlighted the importance of continuous education and professional development in the world of basketball.
A concert that made history at P5
The highlight of this remarkable period came on July 4th, when the P5 open-air venue hosted Logos Timis for one of the biggest concerts of the summer. More than 30,000 spectators packed the venue, creating an impressive atmosphere charged with energy, excitement, and powerful moments.
With a setlist combining fan-favorite songs and their unique stage presence, LOGOS TIMIS treated the audience to an unforgettable musical experience, reaffirming their dynamic energy and the strong bond they have built with their fans over the years. Flawless production, modern venue design, and excellent organization combined to create a high-standard event that prioritized safety, comfort, and the overall visitor experience.
The success of the concert once again highlighted the P5’s capacity to host major music productions and large-scale events, reinforcing Telekom Center Athens’ position as one of Greece’s premier destinations for live events.
The power of flexibility
The fact that an international sporting event, a specialized professional conference, and a concert attended by tens of thousands of spectators took place concurrently within the same timeframe serves as the best proof of the flexibility and operational excellence of the Telekom Center Athens.
With diverse spaces, modern infrastructure, and a specialized event-planning team, the venue adapts to the needs of any production, regardless of size or nature. From international sporting events and professional conferences to major concerts and cultural events, Telekom Center Athens remains a destination that combines expertise, reliability, and unique experiences.
The simultaneous hosting of these three vastly different events confirms that the Telekom Center Athens is not merely an event venue. It is a modern, constantly evolving multi-purpose space that creates the ideal environment for any type of event, demonstrating in practice the importance of diversity, flexibility, and excellence in organization.
July proved, in the most compelling way, that P5 at Telekom Center Athens has established itself as one of Athens’ most dynamic open-air destinations. Within the span of just one week, the venue hosted three major events, welcoming thousands of visitors and delivering unforgettable experiences that ranged from internationally acclaimed live music to top-tier Greek comedy entertainment.
Spanning up to 27,000 sq.m., P5 is a highly versatile outdoor venue designed to accommodate large-scale festivals, concerts, themed attractions, corporate events, and productions of every kind. Telekom Center Athens presents the new Members Club, a unique space created to elevate the hospitality experience through a combination of high aesthetics, understated luxury, and contemporary design.
With a total surface area of 1,220 sq.m., the Members Club was created to serve as a multidimensional space for meetings, socializing, gastronomy, and events, combining the atmosphere of a historic private club with the contemporary demands of a state-of-the-art, multifunctional venue.
The design concept
Interior designer Kostas Gagkos and his team approached the design of the Members Club with classical aesthetics as a key influence and symmetry as a guiding principle—an element deeply connected to timeless design and a sense of harmony. The philosophy of the space is based on creating an environment that exudes balance, elegance, and understated luxury, offering a high-standard hospitality experience.
Symmetry formed the core of the entire architectural composition. All functions and individual elements were organized along a central conceptual axis, creating a sense of coherence and grandeur within the space. A key feature of this design approach is the two “twin” bars, which are positioned symmetrically and serve as defining focal points of the Members Club.
