There are stadiums that host games and stadiums that make history. Telekom Center Athens clearly belongs to the latter category.
After 19 home games in this year’s EuroLeague, it’s official confirmation of what everyone already knew: Telekom Center Athens is the noisiest venue in the competition. Panathinaikos AKTOR fans recorded the highest decibel levels of any European venue in 13 games, winning the “battle of the stands.”
The atmosphere created at every home game is unique. The intensity, the pulse and the unwavering support of the Panathinaikos AKTOR fans transform the venue into a living organism, pushing the team towards victory.
The “green” fans prove once again that their relationship with the team goes beyond the limits of simple support. By faithfully following the rich heritage of the Club, they have transformed the “trefoil” home into the “hottest” in Europe.
This season also saw an impressive attendance record. A total of 351,453 fans attended all EuroLeague home games, marking the highest attendance in the history of the competition. The average ticket sales reached 18,498 per game, with an occupancy rate of 97.4%.
These numbers are not just statistics but overwhelming proof of the dedication, love and unity around Panathinaikos basketball. It is the voice of thousands of fans that becomes a force on the court. Telekom Center Athens is not just a stadium. It is an experience. It is a feeling.
Telekom Center Athens presents the new Members Club, a unique space created to elevate the hospitality experience through a combination of high aesthetics, understated luxury, and contemporary design.
With a total surface area of 1,220 sq.m., the Members Club was created to serve as a multidimensional space for meetings, socializing, gastronomy, and events, combining the atmosphere of a historic private club with the contemporary demands of a state-of-the-art, multifunctional venue.
The design concept
Interior designer Kostas Gagkos and his team approached the design of the Members Club with classical aesthetics as a key influence and symmetry as a guiding principle—an element deeply connected to timeless design and a sense of harmony. The philosophy of the space is based on creating an environment that exudes balance, elegance, and understated luxury, offering a high-standard hospitality experience.
Symmetry formed the core of the entire architectural composition. All functions and individual elements were organized along a central conceptual axis, creating a sense of coherence and grandeur within the space. A key feature of this design approach is the two “twin” bars, which are positioned symmetrically and serve as defining focal points of the Members Club.

It’s not often that you feel like you’re stepping into a space and leaving your daily routine behind and stepping straight into a celebration. That’s exactly what those who attended Telekom Center Athens on Sunday, April 5, felt on a night that looked like it would be something special. More than 8,000 spectators packed the venue’s Main Arena, filling every corner with energy, impatience and a mood for fun.
As the Harlem Globetrotters entered the glass floor, it was immediately apparent that what was about to follow was more than just a typical match. As part of their 100-year anniversary tour, they presented an impressive spectacle full of rhythm and imagination: perfectly synchronized moves, inventive tricks and nail-biters that thrilled the audience. All of this was ideally combined with their characteristic humor and spontaneity, creating an interactive experience where the spectators were not mere observers, but an active part of the performance.
